Mae Huang, originally from Taiwan, attended the Soochow University in Taiwan and received her bachelor of music in 1992. she was a graduate of University of Minnesota where she received her first master’s degree in music performance in 1995 and her second master’s degree in Music Education in 1999.
Mae has moved to multiple states between 2000 and 2005. With such a privilege, Mae owns teaching certificates/licenses valid in the states of Minnesota, Indiana and Pennsylvania. Mae has been teaching in the school district of Upper Dublin in Montgomery County since 2005.
In addition to her teaching career, Mae has served as the principal cellist in the Main Line Symphony Orchestra for the past several years. She also enjoys private teaching and serving as one of the coaches for Chamber Strings Music Camp and the Pennsylvania Youth Orchestra.
